HP achieves triple CDP “A” score

HP was recognized by CDP with a triple “A” score for transparency, action on climate, forests, and water risks, and named a CDP Supplier Engagement Leader for the fourth consecutive year. HP is the only US company to achieve all four honors and one of only five companies globally. The other companies are L’Oreal, Danone, Firmenich, and UPM-Kymemme.

This prestigious ranking is a strong testament to your leadership and the commitment HP has made as a company to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities. CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process are widely recognized as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency. In 2019, over 525 investors with over US$96 trillion in assets and 125 major purchasers with US$3.6 trillion in procurement spend requested companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, risks and opportunities through CDP’s platform, and over 8,400 responded.

The triple “A” ranking recognizes HP’s actions to cut emissions, mitigate climate risks and develop the low-carbon economy and programs to manage deforestation risk and water security in operations and supply chain, as well as the strength of the company’s reporting and disclosure. The Supplier Engagement Leaderboard recognizes HP for its actions and strategies to reduce emissions and manage climate risks in its supply chain.
